Marina Berney

Marina is deeply interested in people. She is passionate about empowering others, and loves to share all that she has discovered throughout her own journey that can help with learning, growth and healing. She enthusiastically seeks to use the transformational potential of our brain to support our wellbeing.

Marina has a holistic vision of the human being and shares the belief that human experience is multi-dimensional. Therefore a truly interdisciplinary and integrative approach is required to address the challenges we face in an individualised, effective and compassionate manner.

MARINA IS ESTABLISHED AS A:

SHE HAS ALSO UNDERTAKEN TRAINING NAMELY IN:

  • Several acupressure modalities (tapping, EFT, etc)
  • Massage therapy
  • The use of sounds and vibrations (especially of tibetan bowls) to help with grounding, stress, pain management etc.
  • Meditation
  • Qi-gong

A mother of four, Marina was born in Switzerland into a big tribe of french-speaking migrants. She has lived in Australia since 1996.

Marina has a professional background in Law. She has trained as a barrister and worked as a judge before completing a PhD in Law and specialised as a Lecturer and Researcher in Medical Law and Ethics at the Faculty of Medicine of Geneva University.
